Live Long and Marry! + a note on favs

You might not have heard about this, but there is an auction taking place on livejournal - it's called Live Long and Marry, and it's in support of marriage equality. It's raising money for the fight against the California initiative which will legally destroy existing same-sex marriages and ban any further ones. If the initiative passes, it will write discrimination into the state constitution, annull existing marriages, and make Mr. Sulu cry. (Taken from their profile page.)

Bidding has begun on July 1st, and will go on until the 25th, and you can find all sort of stuff on there! Offers of fanfic, original fiction, art of any kind, toys, even baked goods - you can check out their tag lists to see everything that is available.

I'm making a couple of offers myself - a single illustration and/or a set of six. The one illustration will be HP based, the set of six of whatever subject you'd like. :)

You can auction something yourself, or bid for offered goods! GIve it a thought, it's for a good cause! :D


Note regarding favs: if people like my art enough to want to fav it, I've always thought it only fair to thank them for it - but it's really gotten to a point where leaving a message on your personal account is no longer doable for me. ): So, let me tell you a big, cumulative THANK YOU for your appreciation!
