Liquor

"That big fucking pork chop. He wants to talk to us, he can call us himself. Not some manager, like, summoning us. That pissed me off."
"It did," said G-man. "It really pissed him off."
"Lenny's kinda big-business that way," Anthony admitted. "He don't think about the effect. But listen, if he called you himself, would you talk to him?"
"I don't know," said Rickey sullenly. "Maybe." Behind his back, though, G-man gave Anthony a thumbs up."

I absolutely love Rickeys expression and his posture. (But you forgot his platinum bleached ends! :XD:) It's strange beside yours I haven't seen any pictures of Rickey but somehow he looks just typical.
:iconladybelial:
Awwww thanks! I do like to imagine the scenes in my head, when I'm reading, and that more often than not includes expressions... and this one was way too vivid for me to pass up. :D Thank you! ( :o damn, you're right! I remembered when I was still in the middle of drawing it - highlights (and bleachy ends XD) are the very last things that get done - and then I forgot. ;P)

(I just found a review at amazon where somebody claimed you wouldn't notice Rickey and G-man's relationship until page 91 in Liquor... :omg: ..... just, d'oh!....
I really can't see how anybody could be so blind... :XD:)
:iconladybelial:
Oh god, I heard about that... though it's the kind of stuff that's more likely to have me burst out laughing, more than anything else. Pfft!

Yeah...it's so ridiculous.

Just ten minutes ago I laughed so hard about something Poppy Z. Brite wrote last wednesday in her livejournal. [link] (it's the paragrah with the big link)
